Canine Emergency First-Aid

A full-day course where you will get hands-on learning in multiple scenarios using dummy dogs.
In this course, you will learn how to properly take vital signs, what they mean, and why you should know your dog's normal.
You will learn about prevention, wound care, CPR techniques, and more! Topics such as toxic plants and dangerous medications (and how to respond if your dog ingests them), basic nutrition, exercise, and dental and nail care are all part of the course.
You will also learn how to safely restrain an injured dog and prepare them for transport. You will even go home with your own personalized Elizabethan collar!
By the end of the course, you'll have gained invaluable insights and a sense of confidence to manage your dog's health and safety.
Included is a 130-page manual and an Emergency Canine First Aid Certificate.

Advanced Canine First Aid

A full-day classroom course where you will get hands-on learning in multiple scenarios using dummy dogs.
This advanced first aid course builds on the information learned in Emergency First Aid and will help you learn how to assist your dog in more severe or remote circumstances where veterinary care is not immediately available.
This course is designed for those who hike, camp, or live in remote areas and may find themselves in situations that require immediate action and advanced care.
In addition to a review of CPR and emergency first aid practices, you will learn how to deal with such things as animal attacks, impalements, choking, drug overdoses, shock, and weather-related trauma.
This course includes a 120-page manual and an Advanced Canine First Aid Certificate.

I Can Help! Kids Safety Course

This 3-hour course is designed for children 5-12 and covers how to be safe around dogs and how to help in an emergency.
In this course children learn about basic dog care including feeding, exercising, and grooming. They will also learn how to read a dog's body language, identify signs of illness or injury, and practice basic bandaging.
This is an excellent course for all children whether they have a pet dog of their own or they interact with dogs at other people's homes or out in public.
All children will receive a booklet and a certificate of completion.

First Aid Fundamentals
